The Korea Meteorological Administration said the central region will be mostly cloudy, while the southern region and Jeju Island will be mostly overcast. It said there will be places with rain from early dawn to morning in Gyeongsang and along the southern coast of South Jeolla, and on Jeju Island through the afternoon.
Expected rainfall amounts are ▲ southern coast of South Jeolla 5–20 millimeters ▲ Daegu and southern North Gyeongsang, Busan, Ulsan, and South Gyeongsang 5–30 millimeters ▲ Ulleungdo and Dokdo 5–20 millimeters ▲ Jeju Island 5–20 millimeters. In the afternoon, some places in the southern region will see showers. Rainfall from showers is expected at ▲ southeastern North Jeolla, Gwangju, and South Jeolla 5–20 millimeters ▲ Daegu and southern North Gyeongsang, Busan, Ulsan, and South Gyeongsang 5–20 millimeters. In areas with showers, some places will see thunder and lightning with gusty winds. Caution is advised for facility management and safety accidents.
For the time being, temperatures will be similar to the average (morning lows 20–24 degrees, daytime highs 27–32 degrees). Centered on the greater Seoul area, the Chungcheong region, and the southern region, the maximum apparent temperature will rise to around 33 degrees, bringing heat. Morning lows will be 21–25 degrees, and daytime highs will be 30–33 degrees.
