On Tuesday the 11th, the heat wave will continue across most of the country. In some areas, morning temperatures will drop to around 20 degrees, but during the day they are expected to rise again to 34 degrees.
According to the Korea Meteorological Administration on the 10th, central regions will be mostly clear on the 11th, while southern regions and Jeju Island will be mostly cloudy. In Jeju Island, some places may see a few raindrops through the morning.
With the heat wave continuing for the time being, the maximum apparent temperature will rise to around 33 degrees in most areas nationwide. In particular, in outdoor worksites or in rice paddies, fields, and roads, the apparent temperature may be higher than at locations with weather observation equipment, so caution is advised against heat-related illness.
Morning lows are forecast at 19–25 degrees, with daytime highs at 27–34 degrees.
Morning lows in major areas are Seoul 25 degrees, Incheon 25 degrees, Suwon 24 degrees, Chuncheon 20 degrees, Gangneung 21 degrees, Cheongju 23 degrees, Daejeon 22 degrees, Jeonju 24 degrees, Gwangju 25 degrees, Daegu 22 degrees, Busan 24 degrees, and Jeju 26 degrees.
Daytime highs are expected to be Seoul 33 degrees, Incheon 33 degrees, Suwon 33 degrees, Chuncheon 31 degrees, Gangneung 28 degrees, Cheongju 33 degrees, Daejeon 32 degrees, Jeonju 34 degrees, Gwangju 34 degrees, Daegu 32 degrees, Busan 31 degrees, and Jeju 30 degrees.
For the time being, some urban and coastal areas will also see tropical nights. In some places, overnight temperatures will not drop sufficiently, keeping the minimum at 25 degrees or higher.
At sea, heed warnings for rough waves. In the inner eastern South Sea and the northern offshore waters of Jeju Island, winds will blow very strong at 30–70 kilometers per hour, and waves will be high at 2–4 meters.
Along the Jeonnam coast, the Jeju coast, the southern coast of Gyeongnam, and the east coast, strong swells will flow in for the time being. High waves may surge strongly onto sandy beaches or sweep over coastal rocks and breakwaters, so caution is advised against coastal safety accidents.
Fine dust levels will be at a "good" level in all regions.
