From now on, as long as there is an internet connection anywhere in the world, parents can easily issue a child's certificate of entry and exit records through Government24.
The biggest challenge for the online proxy issuance service was ensuring security, because verifying parents' parental authority information is essential. The government solved this by introducing a "parental authority information verification system" using public MyData.
When a parent attaches a family relationship certificate based on the child and applies to issue a certificate of entry and exit records, the administrative network system links the attached documents with public MyData to automatically verify parental authority and then issues the certificate.
Yoon Ho-jung, Minister of the Ministry of the Interior and Safety (MOIS), said, "People who found it difficult to visit administrative agencies due to overseas stays or busy daily lives can now easily obtain their child's entry and exit certificate online," adding, "We will continue to carefully address even the small inconveniences people feel in their daily lives."
