Police are investigating the cause of death after the leader of the far-right group New Male Solidarity was found dead in Incheon.
According to police on the 5th, around 8 a.m. that day, A (36), the leader of New Male Solidarity, was found dead at an apartment in Yeongjong-gu, Incheon.
A resident who saw A collapsed called 112, and responding officers confirmed the death at the scene.
Police reviewed footage from closed-circuit (CC) TV at the scene and surrounding circumstances and, so far, see no signs of a crime such as homicide, while investigating the exact circumstances.
A had served as leader of New Male Solidarity and led rallies opposing the impeachment during the impeachment phase of former President Yoon Suk-yeol. In May last year, A was also investigated by police on suspicion of using methamphetamine at a motel in Incheon.
