Law firm Lee & Ko Kwangjang said Jeong Su-jin, an attorney in the antitrust litigation group, was selected for Asian Legal Business (ALB)'s "Asia Top Female Lawyers 2026."
Jeong served as a judge at courts of all levels, including the Seoul High Court and the Seoul Central District Court, for 20 years from 2003 to 2023. At the Seoul High Court, Jeong worked in the divisions specializing in antitrust, criminal corruption and elections, and commercial and corporations. Jeong joined Kwangjang in 2023 and has led the antitrust litigation team since 2024.
Jeong is currently handling antitrust lawsuits as well as criminal cases involving serious industrial disasters and industrial accidents, personal data protection disputes, and management control disputes.
According to Kwangjang, Jeong represented defendants and won acquittals in the SK Multi-Utility (SKMU) serious industrial disaster case, the Sampyo Industry serious industrial disaster case, and the industrial accident case at the Giheung plant of Samsung Electronics.
Jeong is also handling administrative lawsuits in the antitrust field concerning abuse of market-dominant position, unfair trade practices, and violations of the Fair Transactions in Subcontracting Act. Jeong also took part in the Consumer Dispute Settlement Commission proceedings related to the SK Telecom personal data leak case and in an injunction case involving a management control dispute.
ALB, published by Thomson Reuters, selects the "Asia Top Female Lawyers" each year by evaluating major case achievements and career records of women lawyers active across the Asia-Pacific region.
