A sky delivery service will be introduced full time in the area of Beolcheonpo Beach and Beolmal Village in Daesan-eup, a representative summer vacation spot in Seosan-si, South Chungcheong Province.
Seosan-si said on the 24th that from the 25th, the start of the peak summer vacation season, to Aug. 9, it will operate a daily goods delivery service using drones.
Previously, drone deliveries were limited to Friday through Sunday, including weekends. However, with visitors expected to surge during the school break and vacation season, the operating period has been expanded to weekdays.
Accordingly, vacationers visiting the tourist spot can use the drone delivery service a total of 11 times a day, from 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. every day.
Visitors vacationing around Beolcheonpo Beach can order food using the public delivery application (app) "Mukkebi." Available items include Chinese dishes such as jjajangmyeon, as well as daily necessities and food and beverages sold at nearby markets.
