It was belatedly reported that P.O (real name Pyo Ji-hoon), a singer and actor with the group Block B who gained attention in the Netflix original drama True Education, was hit by a car while walking on a road in Jeju Island.
According to Jeju Western Police Station on the 22nd, Pyo was struck by a vehicle in motion while crossing a road located in Geumneung-ri, Hallim-eup, Jeju City, at about 9:56 p.m. on the 19th.
From the impact, Pyo suffered abrasions to the skin on the knee and elbow and felt a dull ache throughout the body, and was immediately transported to a nearby medical facility for treatment. Fortunately, the injuries were not believed to be serious.
Police said the driver was not under the influence of alcohol at the time, and there were no indications of a signal violation. Police plan to investigate the exact cause of the crash.
