A woman in her 50s was found dead in a parked car on a road in Gimpo, Gyeonggi. A man in his 60s identified as a murder suspect also died after jumping from an apartment in Paju, and police are investigating the exact sequence of events.
According to police on the 14th, a report suspecting a murder was filed at about 6:30 a.m. that day. Officers who responded to the scene found the body of a woman in her 50s, surnamed B, inside a car that had been parked on a road in Gimpo.
Based on the report and the circumstances at the scene, police identified a man in his 60s, surnamed A, as the suspect. They then went to an apartment in Paju where A lived, but determined A had already died after jumping.
Police are checking the relationship between A and B and investigating the motive and how the crime occurred.
