A story has emerged that singer Lim Young-woong appeared in a dream for three straight days, followed by a first-prize lottery win.
According to Dong Hang Lottery on the 9th, the first-prize winner A in the 107th round of Speedto 1000 won after dreaming of Lim Young-woong for three consecutive days, taking home 5 billion won.
In an interview with Dong Hang Lottery, A said, "Recently, Lim Young-woong appeared in my dream, shining brightly with a halo. It was a dream where we greeted each other and had a pleasant time, and, amazingly, I had that dream three days in a row."
A shared this dream with a spouse and, after hearing it sounded like a lucky omen, bought a lottery ticket. Later, while scratching the ticket at home, A saw the words "50 million won prize" and reportedly yelled in surprise.
A said, "In that moment I was so shocked and dazed that I couldn't believe it, and I couldn't speak for a while," adding, "I contacted my spouse to share the news and celebrated with my family."
A continued, "I didn't expect such great luck to come to me, so I'm truly grateful and happy," and noted, "I plan to use the prize money for a dwellings purchase." A added, "I'm glad and happy to have had a good dream and to have won."
Lim Young-woong greatly boosted public recognition by taking the top prize on TV CHOSUN's "Mister Trot" in 2020. He has since been loved for songs such as "Trust in Me Only Now" and "Love Always Runs Away," and has sold out every seat at his concerts.
Lim Young-woong will hold "I'm Hero - The Stadium" at the Goyang Sports Complex main stadium from Sept. 4 to 6. It is his second stadium concert following the Seoul World Cup Stadium.
