Busan said on the 9th it will distribute the 2026 Busan gastronomy guide, a booklet that brings together information on the city's signature restaurants at a glance, to tourist information centers and consulates.
Beyond listing restaurants, it supports tourists' "gourmet tour" with route guidance linked to the subway map and even mobile directions.
The guide divides Busan into six areas — ◇ Geumjeong·Dongnae·Yeonje, ◇ Haeundae·Gijang, ◇ Busanjin·Dong·Yeongdo, ◇ Suyeong·Nam, ◇ Gangseo·Buk·Sasang, and ◇ Saha·Seo·Jung — and is produced as a set. A fold-out map is attached to the back of the guide.
The listed restaurants are those selected by the city-supported and -run gastronomy guides Michelin Guide, Busan's Taste, and "Taxi-chelin." The booklet includes the restaurant name, menu, address, contact information, and the restaurant's features.
The front of the map is based on the subway route map and marks the locations of notable restaurants in each area with icons and numbers for intuitive location identification.
In addition, scanning the QR code in the guide links directly to the Busan Tourism Portal Visit Busan (visitbusan.net) and to Naver Map and Google Maps, enabling mobile directions.
The guide is produced in four languages (Korean, English, Japanese, and Chinese). The Korean and English editions will be distributed first, and the Japanese and Chinese editions can be viewed online.
