Jinju said on the 6th that it will host the 2026 Jinju K-entrepreneurship youth forum from the 9th to the 10th at the Gyeongnam esports permanent arena and around the Jinju K-entrepreneurship center.
The youth forum, held under the theme "K-entrepreneurship: Connecting regions and the future in the AI era," will draw more than 450 participants, including college students, prospective founders, young entrepreneurs, and businesspeople, to discuss entrepreneurship in the AI era and the future of the startup ecosystem.
This year's forum will be attended in force by former Minister of the Ministry of SMEs and Startups Oh Youngju; Ha Beom-jong, head of support for LG's management division (president); executives from the four major corporations—Samsung, LG, GS, and Hyosung; and Patrick Donahoe, chief operating officer of Columbus State University in the United States.
On the first day, forum participants will join the "K-entrepreneurship pilgrimage," touring the birth homes of the founders of Samsung, LG, GS, and Hyosung, and attend seminars to hear startup strategies and success stories.
Huh Seung-jo, chair of the Jinju K-entrepreneurship foundation, said, "Through this forum, I hope young people will learn the new entrepreneurship and startup capabilities required in the AI era and grow into future startup talent that takes on the global stage," adding, "We will work to build an entrepreneurship ecosystem centered on youth and to spread a startup culture."
