On the 4th, most of the country will be mostly cloudy with rain centered on Jeju Island and southern South Jeolla. The highest apparent temperatures are expected to climb to around 31 degrees Celsius, mainly in inland areas.
The Korea Meteorological Administration said that as a stationary front moves north, it will bring rain to the Chungcheong region and the south, with some places centered on Jeju Island and southern South Jeolla seeing heavy rain and large amounts.
Expected rainfall is 5–10 mm in the Chungcheong region, 5–40 mm in the Jeolla region, 5–40 mm in the Gyeongsang region, and 30–80 mm in Jeju Island (over 150 mm in places).
Scattered showers are also forecast. In Incheon, northern Gyeonggi, and North Chungcheong, 5–20 mm is expected, and in Daegu and the southern inland of North Gyeongsang, 5–20 mm.
For the time being, daytime highs will rise above 30 degrees Celsius mainly in inland areas nationwide, and the highest apparent temperature will also climb to around 31 degrees, making it hot.
Morning lows by major area are 23 degrees in Seoul, 22 in Incheon, 22 in Suwon, 20 in Chuncheon, 22 in Gangneung, 22 in Cheongju, 21 in Daejeon, 22 in Jeonju, 22 in Gwangju, 21 in Daegu, 21 in Busan, and 23 in Jeju.
Daytime highs are 31 degrees in Seoul, 30 in Incheon, 31 in Suwon, 31 in Chuncheon, 30 in Gangneung, 32 in Cheongju, 31 in Daejeon, 30 in Jeonju, 29 in Gwangju, 30 in Daegu, 27 in Busan, and 28 in Jeju.
