On the 3rd, most of the country will be mostly cloudy. Jeju Island will see heavy rain from the afternoon.
According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, Jeju Island is forecast to receive 30–80 mm of rain in the afternoon. Some mountainous areas could see more than 120 mm.
In the central region and the northern inland and northeastern mountains of North Gyeongsang, showers are forecast from the morning through the night. Rainfall in Seoul and the southern and northeastern parts of Gyeonggi is 5–40 mm; in inland and mountainous Gangwon, 5–40 mm; and along the Gangwon East Sea coast, around 5 mm.
In addition, Daejeon, Sejong, eastern South Chungcheong, and North Chungcheong are expected to receive 5–40 mm, while the northern inland and northeastern mountains of North Gyeongsang are expected to receive 5–30 mm.
Morning lows will be 18–22 C. Afternoon highs will be 25–31 C.
