The husband of first-generation influencer the late Lee Ju-hee, 44, said, "As speculation that is different from the facts and baseless rumors continue regarding my wife's sudden cardiac arrest, the family, already in deep sorrow, is being hurt again."
He wrote on social media (SNS) on the 30th, "We sent Ju-hee off well amid many people's warm farewells. I would like to thank everyone who, despite being busy, shared in our grief and sent words of comfort and condolences."
He said, "Thanks to the hearts you sent, Ju-hee was able to take her final path without feeling lonely," and added, "Although Ju-hee has left, our daughter and I will lean on each other and do our best to live so that we can feel a little less of the absence of a mother and wife."
First-generation influencer the late Lee Ju-hee suddenly died on the 24th while running the fashion brand Abcollection, which she founded in 2019. On Lee's SNS on the 25th, an obituary and a message from the bereaved family were posted.
The post said, "We had intended to inform you after all the procedures were completed, but as so many people reached out with concern and regards, we carefully decided to share the news first," and added, "We sincerely thank you for the warm interest and love you have shown."
