The Ministry of Science and ICT's Korea Post said on the 22nd it will conduct a survey on preferred champion skins to be featured on a commemorative stamp for Faker (Lee Sang-hyeok), which is scheduled to be issued in October.
Faker is a professional gamer in the online game League of Legends, who set records including six World Championship (LoL Worlds) titles and a gold medal at the 2023 Hangzhou Asian Games, and received the Cheongryong Medal of Sports Merit earlier this year.
Korea Post drew up a commemorative stamp issuance plan for 2026 last year, but decided in April to add a commemorative stamp for Faker.
The skin preference survey for the Faker commemorative stamp will cover skins that League of Legends created for Faker. Participants can choose 3 out of 9 options: Zed, Ryze, Syndra, Orianna, two Ahri, and Yone.
Korea Post plans to draw 300 participants from the survey and give them the Faker commemorative stamp and a post office gift certificate.
Park In-hwan, head of Korea Post, said, "We will expand the issuance of commemorative stamps created together with the public and strive to communicate across generations with people of all ages through stamps."
