On Sunday the 7th, the country will be mostly cloudy with rain in places.
According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, rain will begin in the Gyeongsang region and Jeju Island in the morning, expand to the southern inland of the Chungcheong region and eastern Jeolla in the afternoon, and spread to the central region from nighttime.
From early morning to midmorning, there will be spots in northern Gyeonggi and northern Gangwon with raindrops under 0.1 mm, and the eastern part of South Jeolla is also expected to see brief morning sprinkles.
Expected rainfall is around 5 mm in Busan and Ulsan; 5–20 mm in inland and mountainous Gangwon, eastern North Jeolla, eastern South Jeolla, Daegu, North Gyeongsang, and South Gyeongsang; and 5–10 mm on Jeju Island.
Rain in the central region is expected to continue until the early hours of the 8th. Seoul, Incheon, Gyeonggi, Daejeon, Sejong, inland South Chungcheong, and North Chungcheong are forecast to receive around 5 mm, and the east coast of Gangwon less than 5 mm.
Morning lows are expected at 12–20 degrees, and daytime highs at 20–29 degrees. Fine dust levels are forecast to be "good" nationwide.
Waves will be 0.5–2.0 m off the East Sea, 0.5–1.0 m off the West Sea, and 0.5–1.5 m off the South Sea. In the inner offshore waters (open sea within about 200 km of the coastline), wave heights are expected at 0.5–2.5 m in the East Sea and 0.5–2.0 m in the West and South seas.
