All lanes on nearby roads are fully closed after part of a structure collapsed on the 26th at the demolition site of the Seosomun overpass in Seodaemun District, Seoul.
According to the Seoul Metropolitan Government and others, both directions on the Seosomun-ro section from the Korean National Police Agency intersection to Chungjeong-ro were fully closed starting at 3:05 p.m. that day.
Some lanes are also being closed on the section from Seodaemun Station to in front of the Korean National Police Agency and from in front of the Korean National Police Agency to Yeomcheon Bridge.
At about 2:32 p.m. that day, a report came in that a structure had collapsed at the Seosomun overpass demolition site. Rescuers are currently working to save two people at the scene.
