Barun Law LLC will co-host the "2nd 2026 mid-sized enterprise scale-up strategy forum" with the Federation of Middle Market Enterprises of Korea (FOMEK) on the 10th of next month at the main auditorium on the 15th floor of the Barun Building.
The forum will be held under the theme "supply chain risk management and partnership strategy." It will focus on supply chain optimization management for global scale-up beyond simple efficiency, and on measures to manage partner competitiveness, including carbon governance. The first forum, held on Apr. 8, was held under the theme "growth strategies for mid-sized enterprises that turn risk into opportunity."
In the first session, under the theme "supply chain changes, what is changing," Professor Kim Myeong-gyo of the Hanyang University School of Business will deliver a presentation on "supply chain changes and outlook of the past 10 years for corporations." Next, with Lee June-hee, head of the Barun Corporate Strategy Institute, moderating, outstanding mid-sized enterprise working-level executives, Professor Kim Myeong-gyo, and Attorney Park Sang-oh of the Barun GRC task force (TF) will hold a panel discussion.
In the second session, under the theme "turn regulation into a weapon, make the supply chain a competitive edge," Attorney Baek Gwang-hyun of Barun's fair trade risk response team will present on "partner compliance and risk management: details mid-sized enterprises must address," outlining fair trade and compliance risk checkpoints that can arise in partner transactions and practical response directions. Then, Senior Expert Jeong Woo-jin of the Barun Corporate Strategy Institute will address "the core and strategy of carbon supply chain competitiveness," covering the carbon governance framework that mid-sized enterprises should have and ways to strengthen supply chain competitiveness amid the global carbon regulatory environment.
In the following panel discussion, Attorney Lee Hyeong-jin of the Barun GRC TF will moderate, with outstanding mid-sized enterprise working-level executives, Attorney Baek Gwang-hyun, Senior Expert Jeong Woo-jin, and Attorney Lee Ui-gyu of Barun's compliance team joining as panelists for an in-depth discussion on integrated risk management measures such as partner management and carbon governance.
