Shangyoung ENT issued a statement on the 20th saying it respects the National Tax Service's findings and that the imposed additional taxes were paid without delay in accordance with the relevant procedures.
The agency said Lee Min-ki has complied with tax laws and faithfully fulfilled tax obligations since his debut, and that there was no intentional omission of income or illicit tax evasion.

Shangyoung ENT said the results of this tax audit stemmed from a difference in interpretation of tax law between the tax authorities and the company over the criteria for handling expenses in the course of operating the corporation, adding that it faithfully cooperated by transparently submitting related materials during the investigation.
