On the Capital Region First Ring Expressway, a tour bus hit the median barrier, injuring 12 passengers.
According to the Highway Patrol Division of the Incheon Metropolitan Police Agency on the 18th, at about 8:17 a.m. on the previous day, on the section of the First Ring Expressway between Jangsu Interchange and Sorae Tunnel in Jangsu-dong, Namdong-gu, Incheon, a tour bus driven by a person in their 70s, identified as A, collided with the median barrier.
Twelve passengers complained of head and chest pain due to the crash and were taken to hospitals. No one was seriously injured.
A police investigation found that A was picking up an item that had fallen to the floor while driving and failed to keep proper eyes on the road, causing the crash.
A was not intoxicated or driving without a license.
Police are investigating A to determine the exact circumstances of the crash.
