Early-summer heat around 30 C will continue tomorrow.
On May 18, the Korea Meteorological Administration said the warmer-than-usual weather for this time of year will continue tomorrow, the 19th. In particular, the Yeongnam region is expected to top 30 C, with high temperatures observed.
Tomorrow morning's lows will start at 18 C in Seoul and 16 C in Daejeon and Jeonju. Daytime highs are expected to reach 27 C in Seoul, 30 C in Gwangju, and up to 33 C in Daegu.
The Korea Meteorological Administration said, "With temperature differences between day and night around 15 C, mainly in inland areas nationwide, people should take care of their health," adding, "With dry weather advisories in effect, be cautious with open flames."
Meanwhile, the early heat is forecast to ease on May 20. Skies will gradually turn cloudy from tomorrow night, and rain is expected nationwide starting on the 20th. The rain will stop on the afternoon of the 21st.
