On Saturday the 16th, skies will be mostly clear nationwide including the Seoul metropolitan area, and daytime highs will top 30 degrees Celsius, rising to early-summer levels and feeling hot.
According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, morning lows will be 11–18 degrees and daytime highs will be 25–33 degrees.
In particular, daytime temperatures in most regions nationwide will rise above 30 degrees, and in some areas the maximum apparent temperature will climb to around 31 degrees, making it hot.
Centered on inland areas, the temperature difference between day and night will widen to as much as 15 degrees. Heat-related illnesses may occur among older adults and children, so take care to manage health.
From pre-dawn to morning, some places centered on Incheon, western Gyeonggi, South Chungcheong, and the Jeolla regions will see fog with visibility under 1 kilometer.
Sea fog is expected in parts of the West Sea and the seas around Jeju Island, so caution is advised to prevent maritime safety accidents.
Fine dust concentrations will be at good to moderate levels across all regions. However, southern Gyeonggi is expected to briefly reach an unhealthy level in the morning.
