SK hynix rose to the top as the No. 1 corporations of interest chosen by job seekers. It overtook traditional powerhouses Samsung Electronics and Hyundai Motor.
On the 15th, HR tech corporations Incruit said that an analysis of job seeker page views on its company recruitment news page from the 3rd of last month to the second week of this month showed SK hynix as the corporations that drew the most interest from job seekers. It accounted for 6.1% of total views.
Next, No. 2 was Kia (5.1%), No. 3 was Hyundai Motor (4.5%), No. 4 was Samsung Electronics (4.4%), and No. 5 was Korea Airports Corporation (KAC) (4.0%). Following them were ▲Korea Investment & Securities Co. (3.6%) ▲CJ Group (3.2%) ▲KT&G (2.9%) ▲LG Electronics (2.6%) ▲Hanmi Pharmaceutical (2.5%). Interest from job seekers in large manufacturing corporations such as automobiles and semiconductors stood out.
Also, at online bookstores, a written test prep book for high school and junior college graduates applying to SK hynix climbed to No. 1 in real-time bestsellers in the test-prep and certifications category. The SKCT fundamentals book published by eduwill ranked No. 1 across all e-book categories.
The surge in interest is seen as being influenced by expectations for bonuses tied to record-breaking earnings. SK hynix posted 37 trillion won in operating profit in the first quarter this year, and pays bonuses using funds exceeding 10% of operating profit.
