A fashion designer from Belgium alleged that a member of Blackpink, Jisoo, had not returned outfits for six months.
Benjamin Voortmans, a Belgium-born designer who leads the fashion brand Judassime, recently posted a video on his social media and made the claim.
Voortmans said, "Jisoo stole my belongings," and added, "It has already been six months since I sent several items for Jisoo's album cover work." He continued, "They were very important pieces from the collection, and they were quite expensive," and said, "So I sent invoices and a contract to take legal action, but no one replied. I hope someone comes to their senses and returns my belongings."
However, as the controversy grew, Voortmans posted another video on the 6th, saying, "I just received word that everything is being resolved," and added, "Someone will be dispatched to Korea to retrieve the items from Jisoo."
He went on to say, "I will not apologize," adding, "Young designers like us pour an enormous amount of time into each piece," and appealed, "Being ignored and receiving no response for six months is truly awful."
Voortmans also said, "I am receiving a lot of abusive messages online because of the situation related to Jisoo," and explained, "I have never once attacked Jisoo. The problem was how Jisoo's team handled it, and I mentioned Jisoo's name because it was written on all the emails and documents. It was to make someone on that team respond."
