On May 5, Children's Day, the nationwide weather will be mostly clear, but large temperature swings between day and night are expected.
The Korea Meteorological Administration said on the 4th that the country will come under the influence of a high-pressure system moving eastward from the southern West Sea, adding that skies will be mostly clear nationwide.
However, temperatures across inland areas are expected to vary by around 15 degrees between day and night. In inland North and South Gyeongsang, the range is expected to be around 20 degrees, so people should take care of their health.
Temperatures that day will be similar to or a bit lower than average. Morning lows are forecast at 3–13 degrees, with afternoon highs at 19–24 degrees.

Daytime highs: Seoul 22 degrees, Incheon 20, Suwon 21, Chuncheon 21, Gangneung 22, Cheongju 22, Daejeon 22, Jeonju 22, Gwangju 22, Daegu 23, Busan 20, Jeju 19.
Fine dust levels are expected to be between "good" and "moderate" in all regions.
