To mark Children's Day on May 5, five professional baseball clubs nationwide will roll out special events.
According to the sports industry on the 4th, the Tigers will fill Gwangju Kia Champions Field with the popular character "Catch! Teenieping." Around the ballpark, a variety of programs will take place, including a Teenieping treasure hunt, a drawing contest, base running, and a Champhil tour.
After the game, Champions Field will be turned into "Champhil Cinema" to screen the film "Suga," and the real-life protagonist of the work, Jeong So-myeong, is set to throw out the first pitch.
KT wiz will host "Pororo Day" at Suwon KT Wiz Park. Pororo will throw out the first pitch and then, together with "Eddy" and "Petty," join children on the cheering stand to enjoy the game.
Outside the ballpark, a "Pororo" photo zone will be operated, and a "Pororo" theme image will be applied to the big screen to offer more to see. After the game, a kids-run base running event will be held for children.
LG Twins will hold participatory events such as "pull out the carrot" and a "mini Olympics" at Jamsil Stadium in Seoul.
SSG Landers will turn Incheon SSG Landers Field into a theme park-style space. In the first-base plaza, they will set up hands-on facilities such as Jenga block play, a domino block zone, and pool fishing, as well as a photo zone featuring a large hamburger sculpture.
Samsung Lions will also hold a magic park, face painting, and a random drawing event throughout Daegu Lions Park. There will also be a photo time with the cheer squad and mascots.
