On Saturday the 2nd, the country will be mostly cloudy, with dry weather continuing mainly inland.
According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, a dry weather advisory is in effect for Seoul, inland areas of the Chungcheong region, northeastern inland North Jeolla, and inland North Gyeongsang, and the air will be very dry.
The dry weather is expected to gradually ease from night. As rain begins at night mainly in the capital area and inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon, the dry weather advisories currently in effect may be lifted.
From the 2nd to the 4th, the expected precipitation is 5–30 mm in Seoul, Incheon and Gyeonggi, 5–20 mm in the five West Sea islands, and 10–40 mm in Gangwon Province.
Daytime highs will range from 20 to 26 C in most regions nationwide. As of 5 a.m., major area temperatures were Seoul 13.1 C, Incheon 12.8 C, Daejeon 12.4 C, Gangneung 18.2 C, and Jeju 14.6 C.
Fine dust concentrations will be at a "bad" level in the capital area and generally "moderate" elsewhere. However, the Chungcheong region and North Jeolla will briefly reach "bad" in the morning, and eastern inland Gangwon will rise to "bad" from the afternoon.
Waves will be 0.5–1.5 meters off the east and south coasts and 0.5–1.0 meters off the west coast. Offshore wave heights are expected to be 0.5–2.0 meters in the East Sea and 0.5–1.5 meters in the West and South Seas.
