On Sunday the 3rd, the last day of the Labor Day holiday, the country will be mostly cloudy with light rain in places.
Heavy rain with large totals is forecast mainly for Jeju Island.
Expected rainfall: Seoul·Incheon·Gyeonggi 5–30 mm, Gangwon Province 10–40 mm, North Chungcheong 10–40 mm, Daejeon·Sejong·South Chungcheong 5–30 mm, Gwangju·inland South Jeolla·North Jeolla 10–40 mm, Busan·the southern coast of South Gyeongsang 20–60 mm, Ulsan·inland South Gyeongsang 10–40 mm, Daegu·North Gyeongsang 5–30 mm.
In Jeju Island, as much as over 100 mm is expected in the mid-mountainous southern areas, and up to over 120 mm in the mountains. The northern part of Jeju will see 10–60 mm of rain.
Morning lows are forecast at 10–14 C, with daytime highs at 14–19 C.
Fine dust levels are expected to be "good" to "moderate" nationwide. However, the greater Seoul area will be at a "bad" level in the morning.
Waves will run 0.5–2.5 m off the east and south coasts and 0.5–2.0 m off the west coast.
Wave heights in the inner offshore waters (the offshore area within about 200 km of the coastline) are forecast at 0.5–3.5 m in the East and West Seas, and 1.0–3.5 m in the South Sea.
