On Friday the 1st, Labor Day and the first day of the long weekend, skies across the country will gradually clear from the morning.
Morning lows are forecast at 8–12 C and daytime highs at 18–26 C, similar to the seasonal averages (lows 7–13 C, highs 19–24 C).
The temperature gap will be large, around 15 C in inland areas, so take care of your health.
Air will be very dry mainly in Seoul and the inland areas of the Chungcheong region, North Gyeongsang, and North Jeolla, but some places will see dry weather advisories lifted as rain falls.
In the Gyeongsang region, rain that began the previous day will continue through the morning, and in southern North Chungcheong and eastern Jeolla, through the early dawn. In Daejeon and the southeastern inland of South Chungcheong, it will rain in the early dawn.
Elsewhere in the Chungcheong region and southern Gangwon, a few drops under 0.1 mm may fall at dawn. On this day, Daejeon and the southeastern inland of South Chungcheong will see around 5 mm of rain, and Ulleung Island and Dokdo will get 10–30 mm.
The two-day expected rainfall from the 30th to the 1st is around 5 mm in southern North Chungcheong, eastern North Jeolla, and eastern South Jeolla, and 5–10 mm in Busan, Ulsan, South Gyeongsang, Daegu, and North Gyeongsang.
Fine dust levels are expected to be from "good" to "moderate" nationwide, but in Jeju they are forecast to be "unhealthy" from late afternoon into the night.
Waves will run 0.5–2.0 meters off the east and south coasts and 0.5–1.0 meters off the west coast.
Wave heights in the inner offshore waters (the offshore area within about 200 km of the coastline) are expected to be 0.5–3.5 meters in the East Sea, 0.5–1.5 meters in the West Sea, and 0.5–2.5 meters in the South Sea.
