Hanyang University College of Music said on the 29th that it will hold a groundbreaking ceremony following the construction of the "Park Hwa-young Music Hall."
The event will take place at 11 a.m. on the 30th at the Baeknam Music Hall concert hall on Hanyang University's Seoul campus in Seongdong-gu, Seoul. After the groundbreaking ceremony, a groundbreaking with a shovel at the new construction site is also scheduled to follow.
The Park Hwa-young Music Hall is being built with a donation from Park Hwa-young, chair of Incoco and an alum of Hanyang University's College of Music. The building will span from one level underground to five stories above ground, and will include spaces such as choir and opera practice rooms, an orchestra practice room, and a percussion practice room.
