Incheon City said on the 27th it will adjust the first-bus times for metropolitan express bus M6751 starting on the 4th of next month. The Songdo-bound service will be moved up by 20 minutes and the Seoul-bound service by 10 minutes.
After the change, the first departure from e-Pyeonhansesang in Songdo will be at 5:30 a.m., and the first departure from Gongdeok Station will be at 7:10 a.m. The last-bus times and the number of runs (32) will remain the same.
Other M buses (M6405, M6450) passing Central Park Station have first departures at 5 a.m., but only the M6751 started at 5:40 a.m., drawing continued complaints. The city analyzed ridership patterns over half a year and adjusted the timetable.
The route has strong commuter demand to Yeouido. By moving up the first inbound departure, office workers commuting to Seoul will also gain some time leeway. The city will also increase the M6462 (Yeongjong–Gangnam) next month from three buses to eight.
