Seoul said it will hold the "2026 Seoul Hospitality Week" to welcome foreign tourists in Myeong-dong and Yeouido from May 1 to May 5, timed with Japan's Golden Week and China's Labor Day holiday.
According to Seoul on the 26th, a hospitality center near Myeong-dong Station will feature a "Seoul styling spot" and an "AI smart travel guide help desk." It plans to provide customized tour guidance and propose participatory content to foreign tourists, including K-pop dance and K-beauty experiences.
The city also said it will use airlines, outdoor billboards in downtown Seoul, and public transit ads to create momentum for bringing in more foreign visitors.
Japan's Golden Week runs from Apr. 29 to May 6, and China's Labor Day holiday continues from May 1 to May 5.
