Firefighters are conducting a search after a report that a deer was spotted on Cheonwang Mountain in Guro District, Seoul.
On the 24th, the Guro Fire Station in Seoul received a report at about 8:22 a.m. that "a deer appeared near the Cheonwang Mountain Family Campground in Hang-dong, Guro District." The deer appears to be among the five that escaped on the 22nd from a deer farm in Okgil-dong, Gwangmyeong, Gyeonggi Province. Cheonwang Mountain is adjacent to Okgil-dong in Gwangmyeong.
Firefighters, together with relevant agencies including Guro District, are chasing the deer using drones. Around 9 a.m., Guro District sent a safety text message that read, "A deer has been found near the Cheonwang Mountain Family Campground. Nearby residents should exercise caution and report to 119 if they spot it."
