According to police on the 24th, the Pocheon Police Station in Gyeonggi Province detained a female teacher in her 30s, identified as A, on suspicion of child abuse and property damage. At 12:10 p.m. on the 23rd, at a middle school in Soheul-eup, Pocheon, A is suspected of splattering paint in hallways and damaging property in front of students, instilling fear in them.
Responding to a report from the school, police arrested A at the scene. A is currently held in a detention cell and is reportedly refusing to give a statement regarding the allegations. Police plan to investigate the exact circumstances based on witness statements and other evidence.
