On Sunday the 19th, daytime highs will rise to 25 degrees or higher, mainly across inland areas nationwide.
The difference between daytime and nighttime temperatures will be around 15 degrees, and around 20 degrees in the central inland. Morning lows are forecast at 9–15 degrees, with daytime highs at 19–29 degrees.
Skies will be mostly clear nationwide, but rain is expected in the Jeolla region, the Gyeongnam region, and Jeju Island. In particular, 20–30 mm of heavy rain is expected in Jeju's mountainous areas and the southern mid-slope areas from early morning to late morning.
The expected rainfall over two days through the 20th is 5–10 mm in Gwangju and South Jeolla, and less than 5 mm in inland North Jeolla, the southern coast of South Gyeongsang, inland northern North Gyeongsang, and the northeastern mountains. On Jeju Island, 30–80 mm of rain is expected over three days from the 18th (more than 100 mm in some mountainous and southern mid-slope areas).
Fine dust levels nationwide will be in the "good" to "moderate" range.
Waves will run 0.5–1.0 meters on the East and West Sea nearshore waters and 0.5–1.5 meters on the South Sea nearshore waters. On offshore waters closer in (within about 200 km of the coastline), wave heights are expected at 0.5–1.5 meters on the East Sea, 0.5–2.0 meters on the West Sea, and 0.5–2.5 meters on the South Sea.
