Choo Shin-soo, an owner's adviser and head of development for the professional baseball club SSG Landers, filed complaints against more than 40 internet users who posted malicious comments about him and his family.
According to police on the 15th, the Mapo Police Station in Seoul recently received a complaint from Adviser Choo asking for an investigation on insult charges against 47 internet users.
The complaint is said to state that they made immoral remarks targeting Adviser Choo's underage child on social media (SNS) and raised allegations of draft evasion regarding his sons, who hold U.S. citizenship.
On the afternoon of the same day, police summoned Adviser Choo's legal representative as the complainant and launched a full-scale investigation.
Adviser Choo's agency said on the 1st that it would take legal action against malicious comments and the like.
