One person was injured in a crowd crush ahead of a performance at Yonsei University in Seodaemun-gu, Seoul.
According to fire authorities on the 12th, at about 7:09 a.m. that day, crowds surged into the ticketing queue area for the "2026 LOVESOME Joseon Museum of Art Music Festival" venue in front of Yonsei University's main auditorium, causing some people to fall.
A foreign woman in her 20s injured her jaw in the accident and was taken to a nearby hospital. Twenty-three people with bruises and other injuries received first aid at the scene.
Fire authorities held their first situation assessment meeting at about 7:35 a.m., then held additional meetings with police, the district office, university officials, and the event company.
Authorities withdrew from the scene after the performance began at about 12:54 p.m., following checks on safety measures.
The performance runs for two days at Yonsei University's outdoor theater starting on the 11th.
