YouTuber Lee June-hee, known as "Gujaeyuk," who is serving a three-year prison sentence for threatening YouTuber Tzuyang and extorting money, will stand trial again on a charge of false accusation.
Suwon Paldal Police Station in Gyeonggi said on the 10th that it sent Gujaeyuk to the prosecution on the 30th on a charge of false accusation.
Gujaeyuk was tried in Feb. 2023 on a charge of threatening Tzuyang and obtaining 55 million won. After the trial, a complaint was filed claiming that Tzuyang committed perjury.
Seoul Gangnam Police Station received the case and conducted an investigation, but Tzuyang's perjury charge was not substantiated. Gujaeyuk's side claimed that the submitted transcript was the original, but police determined the transcript did not establish the full context. The case was ultimately dismissed as "no charges."
In response, Tzuyang filed a countersuit in Oct. last year against Gujaeyuk's side on a charge of false accusation.
