A photo of a car illegally parked in the middle of a roundabout is heating up an online community.
On the 8th, in the car community "Bobaedream," an internet user posted a video on social media (SNS) titled "Ray illegal parking in a roundabout."
The video captures a Ray stopped in the middle of a roundabout. It also shows other cars passing by to avoid the stationary Ray. At the end of the video, footage shot from another angle shows that the car was parked, not briefly stopped.
Comments on the video included reactions such as "Was it actually parked? I thought it was waiting for someone," "Can't drivers like that be made to turn in their licenses?" and "An accident causer."
Under the current Road Traffic Act, a vehicle parked within an intersection can face a fine of up to 200,000 won or detention.
