A group of teenagers who drove without a license in a stolen vehicle were arrested by police.
The Wonmi Police Station in Bucheon, Gyeonggi Province, said on the 7th that it apprehended four people on suspicion of special theft and driving without a license under the Road Traffic Act, arrested two including an 18-year-old identified as A, and booked without detention two including B.
They are suspected of stealing a Sorento parked in an underground lot of an apartment complex in Sosa-gu, Bucheon, and driving it without a license.
Police received a report about this on the 19th of last month and arrested two including B the same day. On the 4th, they also arrested the remaining two including A.
Police sought arrest warrants for two including B, but the prosecutor's office dismissed them. B, who avoided arrest, was arrested again after committing another theft with A.
Police believe they may have additional crimes and are continuing the investigation.
