On Tuesday the 7th, most of the country will be mostly clear, with morning temperatures dropping sharply and a chilly feel continuing.
Morning lows will range from minus 1 degree to 7 degrees, and afternoon highs are forecast at 12 to 15 degrees. With a cold wave advisory in effect in parts of Gangwon and cold air pushing south from the northwest, morning temperatures will be about 5 to 10 degrees lower than the previous day. Strong winds will make it feel colder than the actual temperature.
From dawn to morning, fog with visibility under 1 km is expected mainly in the Jeolla interior and the western interior of southern Gangwon. In particular, fog may be thicker on roads near inland rivers and lakes, so drivers should take extra care with traffic safety during the morning commute.
Seas are expected at 0.5 to 2.0 meters off the East Sea, 0.5 to 1.0 meters off the West Sea, and 0.5 to 1.5 meters off the South Sea. In offshore waters, waves will run 1.0 to 4.0 meters in the East Sea, 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the West Sea, and 0.5 to 2.5 meters in the South Sea.
