A math instructor who believed winning the lottery was statistically impossible received a 500 million won prize from an instant ticket.
According to Donghaeng Lottery on the 1st, a math instructor identified as A won 500 million won with a ticket purchased while chatting with friends at a cafe. A and friends exchanged the 10,000 won winning ticket for 10 "Speetto 1000" tickets at a lottery outlet near the cafe. They agreed to split the prize if they won, then parted ways.
