The Taean International Horticultural Healing Expo Organizing Committee said on Apr. 1 that it signed a business agreement with GS Retail to strengthen promotion for this year's expo.
Under the agreement, the committee will support the production of promotional videos and images and offer up to a 40% discount on admission tickets for GS Retail executives and employees. It will also provide space to operate a temporary convenience store at the venue during the expo.
GS Retail will promote the expo by airing promotional videos at stores in South Chungcheong, Daejeon, and Sejong, posting posters, and attaching promotional materials to store facades.
An organizing committee official said, "Through this agreement, we have created an opportunity for more people to experience the expo," and added, "We will also strengthen on-site convenience services to make it an expo that satisfies visitors."
Meanwhile, the 2026 Taean International Horticultural Healing Expo will be held for one month from Apr. 25 to May 24 at the Kkotji Coastal Park area on Anmyeondo in Taean County. This year's event, themed "A healthy future of horticulture and healing found in nature," will be co-hosted by South Chungcheong Province and Taean County. The organizers expected 1.82 million visitors from 40 countries this year.
