A man who threatened a driver with a weapon after the driver cut in line at a gas station crowded with customers was caught by police.
According to police on the 30th, the Yeongdeungpo Police Station in Seoul arrested a man in his 30s, A, on the spot on suspicion of special intimidation and he is under investigation.
Around 3:30 p.m. on the 29th, while waiting in line at a gas station in Dorim-dong, Yeongdeungpo District, A is accused of pulling out a weapon and threatening after a car driven by B cut in.
With oil prices surging due to the recent Middle East situation, the gas station in question was reportedly crowded with customers because its prices were relatively low.
A was reportedly not under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the time.
Police plan to seek an arrest warrant for A.
