Minister Jung Sung-ho of the Ministry of Justice reported that as of the end of last year his assets totaled 4.8 billion won.
According to the "2026 regular disclosure of asset changes for senior public officials," published in the official gazette on the 26th by the Government Public Officials Ethics Committee, the Minister reported assets of 4,831.03 million won.
The Minister reported 4,603.24 million won in assets after taking office in Jul. last year, an increase of about 200 million won. Political funds deposits increased by 19.53 million won due to higher donations, bringing the total reported to 137.44 million won.
Vice Minister Lee Jin-su of the Ministry of Justice reported assets of 3,483.88 million won. Buildings, including a jointly owned apartment with a spouse, totaled 4,692.94 million won, and deposits were reported at 14.98 million won.
Acting Prosecutor General Gu Ja-hyun (deputy chief prosecutor of the Supreme Prosecutors' Office) reported assets of 2,861.46 million won. The acting chief reported a jointly owned apartment with a spouse worth 1,645 million won and deposits of 1,105.07 million won, among other items.
Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office Chief Park Cheol-woo reported assets of 1,631.87 million won, including an apartment in a spouse's name and deposits.
Corruption Investigation Office for High-ranking Officials chief Oh Dong-un reported assets of 3,699.75 million won. Buildings totaled 2,029.44 million won, including a jointly owned apartment with a spouse and a pre-sale right for the eldest daughter's apartment.
