A festival where you can enjoy spring on a wide-open lawn square in the city is being held. During the day, visitors can spread out mats, enjoy the spring breeze, and take part in various hands-on events, and in the evening, there will be performances by popular singers such as Song Ga-in and Koyote, followed by a fireworks show.
Yeonsu District, Incheon, said on the 25th it will hold the "2026 new spring Yeonsu one heart festival" at Yeonsu Hanmaeum Park for two days from the 28th to the 29th.
The one heart festival is an event Yeonsu District holds every spring. Up through last year, the "Seunggi Stream blossoms in spring" event was held at the lawn square in Yeonsu Sports Park along Seunggi Stream; this year, it will continue with a change of venue and name.
Hanmaeum Park, where the event will take place, was completed in October last year. It is being created on idle land around Seonhak-dong with a total area of 82,649 square meters (about 25,000 pyeong), of which 28,000 square meters (about 8,470 pyeong) have been completed first. Yeonsu District said this is the largest lawn square in the country.
This year's festival will be held under the theme "facing spring." The aim is to deliver comfort and energy to citizens weary from daily life by letting them feel up close the vitality that blooms after a long winter.
The venue will consist of the following: ◇ main stage ◇ mat zone ◇ photo zone ◇ experience zone ◇ food zone ◇ flea market. To prepare for dropping temperatures, two heated tents will be set up. Since the event takes place on a lawn square, bringing a mat along with a raincoat or waterproof mat will be convenient.
The mat zone, food zone, and heated rest area will operate daily from 1 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Visitors are recommended to secure a spot in the mat zone, enjoy the experience programs, use the food zone, and then watch the evening performances.
On the first day, the 28th, from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m., experience booths prepared by the 15 residents' self-governing councils of Yeonsu District will operate. Visitors can try cookie making, a brunch experience, and craft activities themselves. From 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., there will also be busking performances on a secondary stage.
Then, from 6:30 p.m. for about two hours, a celebratory performance will take place. Singers Song Ga-in, Norazo, Sorisae (Hwang Young-ik), and Omyu O will take the stage, and after the performance there will be about 10 minutes of fireworks.
On the second day, the 29th, a paper airplane contest will be held at 1 p.m. A thrifty sharing market and experience booths will also operate, and from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., busking performances and a magic show will follow.
The closing ceremony will be held at 6 p.m. Afterward, celebratory performances by Koyote, Tei, Shin In-seon, and Song Min-kyung will continue, and as on the previous day, fireworks are also planned.
During the event period, flower-shaped landscape lighting and photo zones will be available at all times.
Hanmaeum Park is a 5-minute walk from exits 1 and 2 of Seonhak Station on Incheon Subway Line 1. A shuttle bus will also run linking Yeonsu District Office–Seonhak Middle School–Hanmaeum Park.
For those traveling by car, Seonhak Gymnasium Parking Lot and Seonhak Star Light Library public parking lot are the closest, about a 3-minute walk. Seonhak Elementary School parking lot is about 4 minutes away, and Seonhak-dong Community Service Center, Yeonsu 3-dong public parking lot, and Seonhak Middle School parking lot are within about a 10-minute walk.
