Hollywood action actor Chuck Norris has died. He was 86.
According to AFP and others on the 20th (local time), Norris' family posted a statement on social media (SNS) that day and reported his death.
The family said, "We are heartbroken to share that our beloved Chuck Norris passed away suddenly yesterday morning," adding, "To the world, he was a martial artist, an actor, and a symbol of strength, and to us, he was a devoted husband, a loving father, a grandfather, a wonderful brother, and the heart of our family."
Chuck Norris made his mark with the public by appearing as Bruce Lee's one-on-one opponent in the 1972 film "The Way of the Dragon." In the 1980s, he was active in action films such as "The Delta Force."
From 1993 to 2001, he showcased his martial arts skills in the CBS drama "Walker, Texas Ranger," winning the love of fans.
