On Monday the 16th, the temperature difference between day and night will be large, and morning temperatures will fall below freezing across most of the country.
According to the Korea Meteorological Administration on the 15th, tomorrow (the 16th) morning temperatures across most regions nationwide will be at or below 0 degrees, and the day-night temperature difference will be around 15 degrees.
From pre-dawn to morning, frost is expected in inland areas of the central regions and Jeolla regions.
For the time being, temperatures are expected to be similar to or slightly higher than the seasonal averages (low -3 to 5 degrees, high 10 to 14 degrees).
Morning lows will range from -3 to 7 degrees, and daytime highs will fluctuate between 10 and 16 degrees. Morning lows in major areas: Seoul 1 degree, Incheon 1 degree, Suwon -2 degrees, Chuncheon -2 degrees, Gangneung 4 degrees, Cheongju 0 degrees, Daejeon -1 degree, Jeonju 1 degree, Gwangju 2 degrees, Daegu 2 degrees, Busan 6 degrees, Jeju 6 degrees.
Daytime highs: Seoul 13 degrees, Incheon 11 degrees, Suwon 12 degrees, Chuncheon 15 degrees, Gangneung 12 degrees, Cheongju 14 degrees, Daejeon 14 degrees, Jeonju 14 degrees, Gwangju 15 degrees, Daegu 15 degrees, Busan 15 degrees, Jeju 12 degrees.
Fine dust concentrations are expected to be "bad" in Seoul, southern Gyeonggi, Yeongseo in Gangwon, Sejong, North Chungcheong, Daegu and North Gyeongsang, and "moderate" in other areas. However, Daejeon, North Jeolla, Busan, Ulsan and South Gyeongsang will be at "bad" levels in the morning.
There will also be areas with fog reducing visibility to under 1 km, mainly inland nationwide. On roads near rivers, lakes and valleys inland, the fog may be even denser, so reduce speed when driving.
