The Seoul city government said on the 12th that it held a third deputy mayoral inspection meeting in response to the "BTS comeback concert" to be held at Gwanghwamun Square on the 21st.
After the BTS concert was confirmed, the city held a preparation status inspection meeting presided over by Mayor Oh Se-hoon on the 10th, and has since been holding weekly meetings attended by the first and second vice mayors for administration and senior officials from related departments.
At the meeting, participants discussed overall city-level preparations and comprehensive response plans, including traffic and safety management, visitor convenience, price order management, and hospitality programs.
Based on the day's inspection results, the city will continue consultations with relevant agencies and will finalize safety measures for overall concert operations through a review of the event safety management plan.
Acting First Vice Mayor for Administration Jeong Sang-hun of the Seoul city government said, "As this BTS comeback concert is a large-scale downtown event that will bring fans from around the world to Seoul, we have prepared meticulously with citizen safety as the top priority," adding, "We will showcase a safe and dignified Seoul."
