Much of the Korean Peninsula is forecast to be shrouded in fog and fine dust on the 10th.
According to the Korea Meteorological Administration on the 9th, from early morning to around 10 a.m. there will be areas in inland Jeolla with fog reducing visibility to under 200 meters. Fog will be especially thick near rivers, lakes, and valleys inland. The Korea Meteorological Administration said, "In areas with low temperatures, fog may freeze on the ground and create black ice on roads, so take care with traffic safety during the morning commute."
The morning low will range from minus 5 C to 2 C, and the daytime high from 7 C to 12 C. The daily temperature range will widen to around 15 degrees, mainly inland.
Fine dust levels are expected to be "bad" in Seoul, northern Gyeonggi, southern Gyeonggi, Yeongseo in Gangwon, the Chungcheong region, Daegu, and North Gyeongsang. Other areas will be at a "moderate" level. In the early morning, parts of Busan and Ulsan may see sprinkles under 0.1 mm or snowfall under 0.1 cm. However, the precipitation will be too light to wash away the fine dust.
